RSTR is preparing to launch on Stonk.fun as a community OSRS collecting project. The plan is to fund iconic items with creator fees and track verified acquisitions publicly. The project contract address is e7zH7pDuZn8Zvyyw5UzyHs5m86FU98UvB4DbrdaSTNK. The vault is empty; the shortlist shows what we hope to collect.
How does this relate to Jagex’s rules?+
Jagex prohibits crypto schemes that profit from in-game item prices and can take action against accounts. Our collection is not intended to link item appreciation to token returns. That distinction does not establish Jagex approval: whether this fee-funded collecting model is permitted remains unresolved. Who controls the collection?+
Items we acquire would be held on a project-controlled game account. Holding a token does not give ownership of those items, redemption rights, or a right to item-sale proceeds. The collection does not back the token or promise returns from item appreciation.
What happens if an item is sold?+
Any in-game sale proceeds would stay in-game for collecting. They would not fund token buybacks or payouts. GP is in-game currency; any published GP valuation would be a game-market estimate, not cash reserves, a cash-out promise, or redeemable token backing.
How were the targets chosen?+
The initial shortlist spans Treasure Trails and raid rewards in Old School RuneScape. Each target links to its OSRS Wiki entry. The list is illustrative. Dated acquisition-cost snapshots are estimates, not purchase commitments or token backing. Item art is authentic OSRS game artwork sourced through the Wiki, with source attribution in every item detail.
